BMWED filed bad faith lawsuit last week over BNSF downsizing then hiring contractors despite no rail expansion. Waiting for IBEW and IAM to follow due to BNSF taking more units out of service, laying off mechanical, yet contracting labor out. I’m sure SMART and BLET are watching closely as BNSF continues to close locations and contract out to RJ Corman, negotiating in bad faith for jobs they are contracting out.

I remember one year that MOW union settled all the time slips ever submitted. It was like 2000 I think. The union kept all the money and didn’t give any to the employees. They kept it to make their union stronger. It was like 13 years ago. Ever since then, I thought unions were a joke, you don’t hear anything from them unless your in trouble.
