TD is continuing with the lay offs. 2% of people being let go and according to LinkedIn TD is still hiring. There is seriously going to be only a skeletal staff left. People hired for the AML remediation project will be let go once the project is done. Will the bank be posed for a takeover or become a lower tiered bank.

@ab too many sr manger and less L10s to work, middle managers push the work load to their teams and live on the awards for delivering
This bank won’t get better until they hire us based employees
TD vps are planning to transfer their Toronto talent with banks expenses for relocation to trick the us regulators
Anzea has to take her ducklings with her wherever she is going. She promoted more as managers and they are incompetent, looks like whoever is the kiss up will end up on her side
She lives on gossip and ride on her J.P. Morgan experience
If she was great there why she left the bank along with hubby and why not going back
Her crew is not capable and in TD payroll for free ride
Middle mangers. Level 10 and not need to be removed. Most of the ones that have direct deports have been doing a terrible job. Even with reporting them to HR they are still there and some have moved into roles with no reports but as glorified project managers. That is where the dead bloated weight. TD needs to do better with letting these dead weights hang around.
A lot of middle managers are useless and basically act like Project Managers, not real managers interested in the development of their teams. they also are easily threatened by high performing Direct Reports and resort to putting their Direct Reports down & scolding them vs encouraging and coaching them. These middle managers need to be let go.
We could cut the cloud team by 50% and then toss OCG out the door.
Yes us regulstors already told TD to downgrade
Anyone know what areas or departments might be affected by the new announced layoffs?
There are way too many teams that are bloated and unproductive and need to be trimmed. Unfortunately, teams that really need resources can't get them because positions have been swept or managers will not proceed with remote hires.
