OSP needs more production come run an install
@1c3
Poor Field service being on call.. LOL
I guess I picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue
Taking on water, it don’t sink slowly either.
can you imagine all of FS Being moved to OSP and doing on call? ew.
Outside plant will not be filling those vacant positions. Doomsday slowly approaching.
How come those ISP guys never see the cr-p we have to go through!
wonder if this is why 76 is cross training OSP
When you don’t know what you are doing you reorganize, re-invent the wheel reclassify job titles. Just do anything because motion equals progress right? Just waiting on that retirement age to hit in a couple years and I will be out of this pathetic circus and leave it to this generation of so called leaders who don’t know whether to $hit or wind their watch.
@da yes this rumor has been around for 2 weeks now. In house field service being moved to business,osp and construction. I'm in Jersey and heard this from a Long Island guy.
meanwhile B2B does 2-3 jobs a day
I’m thinking the other way around, field service techs either go to OSP/ CONSTRUCTION or shown the door.
B2B stays put. No need for in-house techs to do residential anymore.
20 your pretty funny your lucky if there's 10 in some offices and that's all personnel
You going to unionize all the guys driving around in the 20 year old mini vans with the bungee cord ladders on the roof? Those guys? HAHAHAHA
They will always have contractors. Personally, I'm suprised they have not figured a way around the union to unload everyone. The union shops may be safe for a bit but I'd think thewy will slowly start dwindling them down. I mean there are shops with 20 guys. whats that tell you
