It's been a rough ride last several years - I am planning to retire next year, a bit earlier than planned but I cannot handle the drama any more. I hope things work out for all of us but I really have doubts that the current setup can be changed for the better. Good luck all!

In contrast, I'm in my late 60s and have had a blast in my new job since leaving Citrix last year. I have no plans to retire anytime soon. Frankly, my skills and experience have never been more in-demand, and I enjoy coaching younger team members.
Instead of being demotivated by the drama, find a way to be inspired by the changes occurring in the workplace. These are times of great opportunity if you have the right (positive self-expectancy) mindset.
I envy you. I would retire, but cannot afford it.
