Non value add and wokely unnecessary. Probably why Berkshire stopped buying - wasted capital.

Deals are all about who makes them. Sometimes they work out and sometimes they don’t. With this company there is a correlation with who made the deal and whether it worked out or not. RI had a better track record then those who came after him.

Agree on nixing the carbon capture. They need to have a crash effort in reducing debt then get back to large international contracts in MENA. Domestic shale may be dead soon so it may make sense getting back into being an IOC.
