Anyone know when the next round of engineering layoffs is and how big will it be ?

Part of the layoff rationale is the potential lack of sales.
Layoffs are continuous. They never publish anything. Wait until the yearly 10-K to get accurate information.
This site seems to attract people that like to post fake news or portray themselves as having information from those in the know. This trend in layoffs is not isolated to Dell. I have friends that have gone through downsizing that would make your head spin.
It's all about the dollars. Save as much as you can. Even having children is proving to be too expensive.
What % in August
Spreadsheets have been created and lists submitted,Dell operates one way cut this cut that cut wherever it can.
A better question would be, "Anyone know when the next round of stability and no layoffs will be?" Layoffs are a standard part of the business cadence at Dell. To be more specific, Dell works on a fiscal calendar where end of July is end of Q2 / mid year. There are planning milestones around the mid-year fiscal cutoff (including refreshed operating plans and opex targets). As a result, you can expect a massive layoff to hit right around the first week of August. That will be the 1 year anniversary of my WFR meeting :D
