PTO was paid out separately.

I also had calculated the additional taxes and am missing about 5k. I do know I had included my PTO in my calculations though and I'm wondering if that was separated. Are we expected to get a paystub for it?

Lump severance pay was taxed more than the 22%. 22% is only the federal tax portion.

Federal 22%
Medicare/SS 6.5
State tax % depends on what state you reside.
I was taxed total at 32%

@pe if I followed those percentages I’m still missing minimally $4k. Hopefully I’ll get my pay stub soon.

Mine was accurate - 22% fed tax, 6.2% ss, 1.45% medicare - or just 29.65% subtracted from total wages

Well, I was surprised I got my bank text That money was deposited at like 2 o’clock in the morning and then I see an amount that I wasn’t expecting thousands of dollars less wow it wasn’t 22% that’s for sure.

It's obviously more than the federal 22%. At least for me. It must be state tax and Fica too.

Taxes should be 22%

Got it yesterday but those taxes were steep I guess. I'll have to wait and check my printed pay slip in the mail.

For those who see it as a pending deposit, how did you obtain the info? Who do we contact?

Is this regarding the severance for those who participated in the Voluntary resignation or for those who were laid off?

I had calculated my PTO in there too which we were told would be paid out. I recall it said some states get their PTO paid separately so I'm wondering if that's why

So we should expect it this week? Anyone heard anything about QVC?

If severance payment is less than expected with the 22%, I'd question it.

I see mine pending. I will say it's a bit less than I originally calculated with the 22% tax rate. I hope I can see the math somehow because I was expecting about 20% more

I had no idea they were hiring back. Did they reach out to you?

No. The anticipated date is June 6th. Has nothing to do with hired back. However, if you are hired back obviously you won't get a severance.
