I was laid off in the August 2024 rif. Now I am seeing there is more and jobs being sent to india. Then I see Cameron always boasting on linked in about how great the company is doing and their initiatives and plans and milestones etc and people in the comments congratulating him. But all these layoffs. What's really going on?

The current president is openly accepting gifts from countries he previously said were te---r states....he is 100% for sale. This is late stage capitalism and we have one of the most corrupt people imaginable doing anything he can to line his own pockets. Can you name one person in his cabinet who is not a billionaire? Nope.
The president needs to tariff outsourced jobs. That would stop a lot of this by preventing companies from using cheap ineffective labor that don’t share our value system.
He’s saving face! Basically trying to make things seem happy and merry while they cut down employees. Some people are being released after 30 days, others have to work until August or September. The matter have to train their replacements or they don’t receive severance
GP's rebranding should have been "We have to please our shareholders" instead of "Already on it"
