I'm really getting tired of this. If the end goal is to cut half the workforce, they should just do it all at once and leave whoever's left to work in peace. This constant stress is hurting our health and doing nothing for productivity. We need some sense of job security to be able to do our jobs properly.

Layoffs nothing new, I used to worry. Now I finally realize you can't worry about things you do not control. Trust God and be a good person
There’s no layoffs going on at this time!
so leave then!
Why worry? That doesn't make you any less likely to be WFR but just stresses you out.
If it's your time, it's your time. All you can do is save what you can, update your resume, start applying if you truly feel at risk, and put in your 40 hours.
Can’t cut everyone until we get past DTW. 🙂
There is no such thing as job security. Any and every company will fu-k you over if it’s in their best interest. Learn to live like this because this is how capitalism works.
The anxiety caused by the slow roll which you describe also puts pressure on the remaining employees to quit rather than be paid to leave and be eligible for unemployment, both of which Dell has to pay.
The slow stream of layoffs keeps you out of the press.
"they should just do it all at once and leave whoever's left to work in peace."
They're deliberately slow rolling on the layoffs to keep themselves out of the news.
