With Fort Zero hitting the market Dell will have cornered zero trust. I expect a lot of hiring for that market line.

Project Fort Zero isn't going anywhere.
Ignorant post.
What kind of crack r u on? Doge nixed it! Spoke with two guys that were in it. Basically told it was dead! At least for sh-t whole Dell!
"What I heard was that it was the only option, so that'd mean gov contracts."
And Dell can't even get gov. contract stuff right. Last round of layoffs they canned all but 2 members of my team involved with a multi billion dollar gov. contract. The contract mandates a minimum of 14 staffed positions......
Im all for sh-----g on big D, but I did think the fort zero stuff had some official stamp from the gov as the only zero trust solution approved by them. What I heard was that it was the only option, so that'd mean gov contracts. I could be totally wrong, so would love to be corrected otherwise
Not to mention Dell struggles to get even the most basic security stuff right. They can't even procure the correct phones for our SCIF.
What makes you believe Dell is going to bring anything proprietary to their Zero Trust offering? In typical fashion, they are just trying to ride the wave of industry buzz words.
Corner the market? hah, please. I suppose all the other Security vendors have just been sleeping for the past decade: Palo, zScaler, Okta, Crowdstrike, etc. I bet all of them are SHAKING in their boots….
zero trust is a SW game just like AI is. Dell is a HW company pretending to be relevant in the SW space
Zero trust… kind of says it all as far as Dell employees feelings toward their management.
Zero trust in their vision
Zero trust in their ability
Zero trust in their opinion of their employees’ abilities
