Thread regarding Toronto-Dominion Bank layoffs

Too little too late?

I see the posts about the exec exodus but am wondering about the lower-level dead weight. It seems like poor performance is tolerated so managers don't lose the headcount especially now that the majority of open requisitions have been swept. Those of us who actually care and work hard are getting tired of shouldering the extra workload for the same pay as our underperforming team mates.

Managers are the dead weight.

Agree. Too little too late. Managers should also learn how to treat their teams with respect as I haven't seen that a lot around here.

I believe there was a layoff earlier this week with processors and underwriters. They were getting rid of dead weight supposedly. Haven’t heard of any other depts yet.
