Tariffs on H1Bs!
Problem solved.
You mfs do realize Microsoft has operations across the globe, don’t you? A lot of people across the world use Microsoft products. Why can’t Microsoft hire from outside the US when you mfs don’t have a problem taking money from that country? If you don’t like what a company is doing, there’s a very easy way to fix it. Quit working there and stop using their products. Quit whining.

Down with the H1B! Hire Americans. Recruit from Universities. Invest in the foundation!
The H1B visa program needs to be sunsetted. It was legislated in 1990 to fill the software engineering skills gap - a gap that no longer exists. Microsoft has been pushing out citizens in favor of H1Bs for over 20 years with zero scrutiny from USCIS.
Wasn't THE director of AI, was Director of Artificial Intelligence for Microsoft for Startups.
