Thread regarding Ford layoffs

CVS elected to go early

Some may remember, in 2019, Ford Land did their layoff ahead of everyone else. It is very likely that CVS decided to go ahead of everyone else’s schedule.

Unfortunately Tech & Auto will experience a lot of layoffs this year. Tech giant Microsoft is slashing 3 percent of its global workforce — a move that will affect thousands of employees across all departments and regions. In January, Microsoft also quietly cut some roles — those layoffs were tied to performance, unlike this week's broader restructuring.

Why only CVS? Bcoz there are people in other teams who still have nothing to do after FNV4 cancelation. Or is it coming for other orgs after this?

The job market is absolutely abysmal out there. Best of luck to all affected...they will need it.
