Witty and gangs problem was they tried to change a system before learning it. Employee morale is so low that everyone is trying to leave. They were handed a blue chip, they turned it into a tu-d. They will be in hall of shame forever. Narcissistic leaders who don’t have empathy!

Opinion Only: You have ZERO clue as to why he stepped down. It's way bigger than simple arrogance. New HHS leader, DOGE, et. al. have exposed corruption beyond your wildest imagination.
The culture of UHC and Optum has been deteriorating since Witty grabbed the wheel. As bad as he was,..and considering his past track record, the board members that voted him in are just as guilty of destroying a good thing. Leaving for personal reasons is the standard bs corporate response. the board knew he wasn't worth a sh1t from day one.
Can confirm. June 2nd looses Dispatch Health in Houston and more reviews are sent to UMMD. Lots of “streamlining the process”.
Everything out of elt mouth is an outright lie. Everything is to make as much money as possible for them regardless of employee and members impact. Everything is corporate bs. All of it a farce. Every townhall, every speaker.
I don’t think they care about sustainable anything. They are motivated to just make a lot of money. That’s it.
100% TRUE.
Employee morale is at an all-time low, with many individuals actively seeking opportunities elsewhere. Unrealistic deadlines, poor and unethical technology management, and misleading claims regarding automation and AI have contributed to widespread dissatisfaction. The reliance on offshoring and superficial initiatives has further exacerbated the challenges. There is a noticeable lack of meaningful discussions and a genuine growth mindset within the organization. Leadership—particularly at the director and vice president levels—has failed to provide the necessary vision and support for sustainable success.
