Thread regarding Comcast layoffs

What did it cost to get multi-billionaire Michael Jordan on Peacock?

What did it cost to get multi-billionaire Michael Jordan on Peacock? I'm guessing it is a non-trivial percentage of the annual $1.4 billion for Peacock's NBA content. I won't lie, I do very much want to hear Michael Jordan's take on games, but I'll do that with Youtube clips. I still won't pay for Peacock. Writing these big checks to Michael Jordan reeks of desperation on the part of Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Peacock. We'll see what this does to Peacock's subscriber count.

If this number is true, it seems fair to me that it is higher than Tom Brady. "Michael Jordan’s contract with NBC/Peacock for his role as a special contributor to NBA coverage, starting in the 2025-26 season, is reported to be $40 million per year, according to sources from Sportscasting and Yardbarker. This deal makes him the highest-paid sports analyst in history, surpassing Tom Brady’s $37.5 million annual contract with Fox Sports."
