That's what the severance has been for the last few years two months for the first 10 years of service and then 2 days for every additional year. No change.

@21c hybrid cloud. Heard from the colleagues that the severance is 2 months…and that’s it. Only if you have more than 10 years you get some additional weeks of severance. It was really bad.

WFR done on Monday in our org. It was a bloodbath in my team, more than half are gone. As my understanding we are done in US, other countries will be next. I’m still processing everything that happened.

3 people on my team in Storage just got the WFR notice on Monday 5/19. it was 20% of our team. I was a top performer. Was explicitly told it was not about performance.

cuts were primarily in the NA Storage BU. 20% across the board. HPE Stock has basically remained the same for 7 years while the industry is leaving them behind because HPE is no longer a technology company. They are a financial services organization that uses technology to achieve their means. One of the largest issues is running an American-based company with globalist leadership that doesn't understand how to sell into their largest market. Nothing will change under current executive leadership. If Elliott is successful in ousting Antonio, senior leadership needs a global overhaul.

I just had an epiphany:

If Antonio loved his employees as much as the company the way he says he does, then he wouldn’t layoffs happen. But maybe he doesn’t even like HPE or the people who work there.
