You are actually not overcompensated here. Don’t let those golden handcuffs fool you. As a former employee I am making 50% more at another E&P with waaaaay better stock and more elite benefits. I am glad I had the foresight to leave when I did.
I can tell you that I'm making way more money with a diffrent oil company then I was with apache. Best thing ever was being let go on that feb day
