Don't these guys have like work or something. I can't imagine it being productive to abandon the normal work they were doing at Tesla and learn a completely new code base and technology stack. They should probably just focus on their sh---y self driving software lol.

Yea their fully functioning level 2 self driving software is really impressive. Only crashed into a wall once today!

They are typically different kinds of engineers. This is like pulling in Caltrain engineers hoping they can run twitter. Different kind of engineer folks.
Considering the difference in software product quality, Tesla engineers clearly out-engineer the Twitter pseudo-engineers.
So much more can be done!
