Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

May God punish you all for you greed.

I have been working my a-s off for this company for years. I have been stressing myself to be a good employee and show my gratitude for the opportunity.
I have been seeing great folks getting let go: folks fee years away from retirement, folks who changed my life in terms of being supportive and inspiring, folks I wasn't directly working with but I knew how talented they were.
And for what? To have these ba----ds in leadership getting a new boat? For the sake of profit??

You soulless pieces of sh-t started cutting job and outsourcing to countries where folks don't give a damn about our customers, just because you could save money.
That wasn't enough, now you push AI like it can make this fking place running with 25k employees.

And all of that at the expense of hard working people who are just expendable.

I don't know if you'll ever pay for what you're done while you're alive, probably not, but if there is a he-l be sure you have a first class ticket for the deepest and most painful corner of it.

Decency is long lost, this is just a carnage to satisfy the sadistic needs of the oligarchs.

I hope God will treat you the same way once you'll be in front of him.

Imagine working in tech, the forefront of technological and scientific innovation, and believing in something as archaic as magical sky daddies...

I hope all these unscrupulous greedy motherf----rs get what’s coming to them. They deserve the worst. Greed rots your brain. They’re unredeemable.

Unfortunately, the lesson these days is dog eat dog. I don't actually believe that all companies are like Dell, but probably most are.

While OP's reaction is expected now, my question is why didnt he/she see this coming 3 years ago when 12k employees were laid off.. he had ample time to look for another job 3 yrs ago and avoid today's job market.

Wow....deep stuff here...Did you get a pay check/benefits, and have the opportunity to leave any time you wanted while you were working so hard? What else does Dell owe you beyond the above? And now you're calling for someone to burn in he)). Get some help for real and bring along all of your long suffering, hard working up vote comrades..

The EMC paycut was around 2008 or 2009. Such a different world back then. With the merger between Dell and EMC, the dynamic is different now.

You are describing every company that is out there right now. Every year they try to downsize. They all do it. You think other companies are different but if you talk to people that work at these other companies, you soon realize it's the same all over.

Save as much money as you can. I don't anyone in tech that has a positive view of the future of tech. It's all about offshoring and AI. Tech used to be a great career. What happens when you offshore and AI a good portion of the working population? Economic problems.

Sadly, you are describing most large corporations. I remember at EMC when we all took a pay cut to avoid layoffs. Don’t remember too many people complaining. Unlike Dell, people at EMC were loyal to one another

I'd be more ashamed if I was your father who should have c-m on your mother's back rather than creampie her.
