My colleague in risk department isn't online for several days and it's been couple of month since last time I saw him in the office. Does that mean he gets laid off?

He can also look in MS Teams. If the employee appears as unknown or last log in was days or weeks ago, 90% of the time laidoff, quit or got fired.
The Flipping Burger Psycho is worse than the T!tibank guy!
Maybe they should get together, eat burgers and drink the cow's milk 🐄 that $hitibank will soon start producing because it failed in banking. LMFAO!
He quit and found a job at a Fortune 500 company outside of banking at McDonalds…….flipping burgers.
He quit and found a job at a Fortune 500 company outside of banking. It’s a sh---y industry that is likely going to lose 25% head count over the next 5 years. Plus working in a back office somewhere is like being a drone. No ability to make a difference or do anything cool.
He’s flipping burgers because there’s no other jobs out there. It’s as good as its ever going to get for them and there’s no hope of ever getting any other type of employment. It’s either Citi or nothing at all.
Either laid off or was abducted by an aliens spacecraft.
Check outlook properties or send an email, if it shows that mailbox doesn’t exists then the person is no more with Citi (Left or fired),
