We have a town hall this week. Here’s what’s going to said: The company is doing great, the refinery is doing great and has some wonderful projects coming and has a great future. And lastly, Malformation was unfortunate but totally necessary and will do miraculous things for the company.

Nailed it. What a joke this company has become. I see a massive attrition rate after vcip.
I’ve been in the business for years and know the script. The problem is, this is the script for when times are tough, prices are down and/or takeovers are in the air.
This is the script for belt-tightening times.
But this time layoffs happened when both profits and attrition are HIGH.
Layoffs happened while they also remained on campus recruiting and LinkedIn is filled with P66 job postings.
The real script for this one should read …..
ZG came in here 5 years ago and sold the ELT a house of cards. With help from her cronies and consultants she promised to deliver transformation through “self-funding”. She said cloud would be cheaper. She promised the SAP conversion would take 2 years and $250MM.
SHE DID NOT DELIVER!
And instead of holding her and her unethical, coattail hangers responsible for this mess, the ELT and the board let her hire another consultant and created Malformation to clean up the mess.
And then they PROMOTED HER and her two worst accomplices.
That is the real story … and everyone who was involved knows it.
Thank you very much for the 3 great posts. I think it’s going to be almost word for word what is actually said.
"I know this sort of change can be scary, but if you stick it out, I think you'll be amazed at the sort of opportunities that becomes available out of this transformation"
You forgot "it's an exciting time to work for Phillips 66 and be on this journey..."
