Can anyone verify: Is there is a correlation between employees being asked to do an employee survey and mypath account and being layed off? Does the survey and mypath request always come before a lay off or the dissolving of a dept?? Thanks all.

We are asked to update whatever version of MyPath they have that year. We have had so many career softwares I don’t remember which ones were used before. MyPath is new and therefore everyone had to enter info in again. Usually this is done once per year. I wouldn’t look into it that much.
Employee surveys happen at nearly the same time every 6 months.
I disagree with everyone. My manager said she was told "from her leaders above" that it is "extremely important that everyone must have their MyPath updated ASAP" for "reasons unknown". It is also important to "show what current skills you have". Sorry that does not sound too good.
WTF are you even talking about. That survey goes out every godda-n year. MyPath is their career sh-t which they are hyping because they probably paid a million to create yet another complicated and unnecessary system.
No. It’s to help you identify internal opportunities if you’re interested, as well as training opportunities if you’re interested in growth.
A layoff is always coming. Plan accordingly.
Just another tool we probably throw a lot of money at to do the same thing as the other tools we enter this info in, typical business as usual at UHG/Optum.
No.
These are things we are asked to do almost every year. Sometimes the tools or name of it might just be different. Please stop stressing yourself out. What is going to happen will happen, regardless.
