Engineers in Cargill, 90% of their work is just managing suppliers and forcing suppliers to give cost savings. No high-skill and thinking are required because they depend on the supplier to do the thinking for them, and they want the supplier to take the liability for failures no one in Cargill wants to be responsible.
Let me guess they spent millions on contractors whilst getting rid of their workers sn experts they had to supposedly save money. Yep that’s Cargill
I'm hopeful they can fix the issues. I shouldn't be so pessimistic probably but it just seems like so much
