Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Exciting News!

Its been confirmed that MD plans to release 2 more books in his fiction-based trilogy. In the critically acclaimed first book, 'Play Nice But Win', MD imagines a scenario where considering employees' and the community's interests are actually great for business - he calls it the 'Stakeholder Centric Approach'. I know what you're thinking - thank goodness its only fiction!

In his 2nd book, rumored to be simply named 'Respect', MD imagines a scenario where all external consultants are fired and the Company begins a process of fostering internal innovation, whilst allowing employees to make mistakes & objectively critique leaders' ideas without fear of retribution. According to MD this creates tons of upside with respect to employee morale. The man's creative mind is just on another level.

The naming of the 3rd book is unclear, but wouldn't it be awesome if he called it 'WFH Just Works' and he imagined a scenario where RTO does zero for productivity. Oh my god I'm so excited and can't wait to get this little beauty in my Christmas stocking! Please hurry up MD and put pen to paper ASAP!

Mickey's first book helps me with my constipation. Better than being addicted to laxatives.

Did you ever wonder how mediocre CEOs manage to write a book and it becomes a best seller? It’s simple. One they don’t write them. Sure, they may outline and write a rough draft but a staff does all the grunt work.

How do they become best sellers? Even okay books like “Play nice but win” can become best sellers? Step 1: Get a couple of other execs to write a blurb, or have their staff write a blurb, or have AI write the blurb.
2: find a friendly publisher or have your publicist to it.

  1. Have the company by thousands and thousands of copies and give them free to employees. Those all count as sales. You know have a best seller.

Politicians do this also. Only the party buys the copies and give them to donors as a thank you.

I heard the first draft of the musical “Really? You thought I was serious?” Is ready. A light hearted romp through the speeches and prognostications of the past five years. Including classics like “Remote work is the future!”

Starring John Ham as Michael Dell, George Wendt as Jeff Clark, and Seth Green as the funny, cliche spouting, T-shirt- wearing Arthur Lewis.
Mila Kunis will play some SVP because, well, she’s cute.

It’s already been optioned to Peacock.
