So the news has been announced. IDT directly reports to CEO now. What do we all make of this?

Look at the LI posts from IDT folks, like Platinova recently. All AI and DEI mumbo jumbo where 90% of IDT staff is giving hearts and likes.
They are just keeping each other busy moving money around. There is 0 innovation from IDT, only plans and promises.
Only thing to be sure of is that money will be burned by highly paid incompetent political managers with no IT affinity or vision.
YL only cuts. IDT shouldn’t think they are now ‘special’ as they report directly to him. You have been specially chosen for him to personally chop you. But seriously, shell is s**t at IT, so it will be out sourced to a specialist leaner company

The Shell IDT dept is so over staffed at multiple levels. Regardless of AI (that is way over sold on it’s benefits) the IDT group need to be put on a diet.
i see this take a lot but i have a simple question
why would we send these jobs to india if they are fake or basic? it will be cheaper to completely eliminate or automate them
hanging onto the idea of offshoring propelling indias future is foolish
There is so much corporate (idt) expensive people with 5 management layers which you can easily outsource even to Indian service companies.
Hope that will make the amx stock go back to 33 euro so I can cash in and never look back.
I think he wants to work closer with them on using AI to automate away more jobs.
If you don’t think job loss to AI has already happened, you’re extremely out of the loop.
After that, he’ll trim down IDT as well.
