Any jobs in Calgary these days for Americans? I always wanted to have a job there and even looked into emigrating to Canada at one point. Seems like oil sands investment is down to zero so I am guessing they don’t have any expat roles now. Anyone know? If any available what type of roles? I guess I should check the announcements.

Think outside of oil sands and anything outside of oil and gas. People are just fooling themselves about the return of the booming good old days. It prolong the agony. Move on and look in adjacent areas where you can take your skills.
I like Calgary so would not need a big premium. I would go as long as I wasn’t losing too much money. I’d go even if I was losing some money.
The Brits are being laid off, what hope do you think there is in wanting to head to Canada??????
Calgary is dumping all their people into the US and golden pass so probably not. Plus you only get a 5% uplift and your col with go through the roof. Why would you want to?
When I worked for Exxon, it seemed like all the jobs were heading stateside.
