Maybe is the same in term of time paid but since is based on last 12 months average salary, and you are now getting lower commission, you get less if any

Speaking to a friend who took the package the last time, he was able to confirm that there was a package and that I Should Taken The Package!

The answer really hinges on your definition of the word 'time', as time is relative and also there have been many 'times' which have existed before what you might consider to be this 'time'.
In particular, all those times which happened prior to humans first attempt to define time.
It does appear the severance package will be the same, consisting of words on a document, but that's not important right now.
