Is there any further news regarding potential lay-offs? I am skeptical about the reassurance that there were no further cuts planned any time soon for ELT.

Our leader never met a layoff he didn't relish.
They most likely had a total dollar amount they had to hit and decided to apply it equally across the org.
Does anyone know why they laid off so MANY people from so many divisions this time? They even slashed the Learning Department, which was completely untouched during Project Horizon.
They cut people from Marketing, Sales Enablement, Commercial Strategy, Canada Marketing it seems - no word on Sales but probably untouched
Any word on plans for HED sales? No chatter here since the consulting survey..
Everything is decided months in advance, and your job performance has nothing to do with it.
When I was a manager, someone on my team was an underperformer, came in late, left early, and was insufferable. When cuts were presented to me I was told to let go one of my top performers. I was unable to save the eight-year veteran and was stuck with a recent contractor conversion. It had nothing to do with money or performance. It's all about positions being eliminated and moving someone to a role while letting another go opens up legal issues that Cengage doesn't want to deal with.
Is you point of view that those who are leaving already know and just aren't' saying anything? or we don't know the impact? Or that there are additional cuts coming? And what groups are you hearing about?
Semantics. The org structured doesn't show a place for everyone -- further cuts probably means beyond what was already communicated. Even if it doesn't say who stays and who goes, the cuts have already been presented.
Equally skeptical over here.
Nothing new at this time from what I can hear... TBD...
