What was the business unit and who were the types of employees?
any information as to how much the layoff will be? I got colleagues who were impacted just now :(

I love that the CFO is saying "it's fine, everything's fine". Q2 sales were up! Don't think about how people were trying to buy what they needed before the tariffs went higher and what that means for Q3 and beyond. We haven't seen supply chain impacts... yet. We haven't seen "adverse demand" because of the millions in tariff charges we're adding onto customer orders...yet.

yes, due to a downshift in economic winds but its ok, the temporary loss of jobs and increase in prices with worth the pain now to make everything better later.
yeah right. Tell that to the mortgage companies when you cant make the payments. Tell that to your kids when you cant put food on the table.
