Thread regarding PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) layoffs

This is as low as it gets

Not enough people are leaving, and it’s not because we just love our jobs here. We’re not leaving because the job market is absolutely horrible right now, and decent alternatives are nearly impossible to find. Kicking so many people out in a situation like this isn’t just cold, it’s beyond low and utterly shameless.

Completely agree. I'm still there but have been passively looking for a while. The job market su-ks. It saturaturated and job hunting has really changed recently.

I have credentials that usually get me interviewed within days/weeks usually by just posting that I'm looking for work but right now nothing.

And to lay people off without warning by teams is cr-ppy. Hard work and dedication is NOT valued or rewarded here. I was asked to do a senior manager role as a manager. Was told do it for a year to get senior promotion. 2.5 years later, told promotion is not even a consideration. So unhappy.
