There is almost zero overlap between Kroger and Hy-Vee. It would make a lot of sense for Kroger to try to buy Hy-Vee. Key word though, is try.
Randy would have sold the farm in an instant. Things may be different now.

What does it have to do with Hyvee? Ask the guys being driven around in a limo and flying the Kroger private jet into Dsm airport….
I don't it's true anyway. Kroger was, however, trying to merge with Albertson's but THAT fell through.
