Thread regarding Northwestern Mutual layoffs

During a recent Cross Functional Strategic Hyper Focus session I think they realized it makes business sense to set up Mindtree to fail

LTI does not get paid if they don't reach certain metrics but NM would still reap gains from them so it would make business sense to have them fall just short, I wonder if they figured this out yet. I bet all the laid off testing people and their friends here would find it amusing if this happened 🤔

Any tree planted here, including Mindtree, will be taken care of for 3 years to get the most benefits. After that, they will be set up to fail and blamed for any problems. The goal is to let them go cheaply without giving severance pay once the main work on the project is done. This is the NM culture since 2016.
