This place used to have energy, now it feels like a funeral home. When did we all just give up?

Just leave the company. They don't all su-k as bad as TR.
I think what will boost morale is more Power BI reports encouraging us to micro manage every minute of our days to make sure we show up on reports as an essential worker.
I think after they've reorganized my depth for the 3rd time, I'm on my 3rd director, they ask me to change ratings, they cherry pick my best teammates, and they refuse to promote after I've been here over 3 years. I give up.
It su-ks the life out of the job when you spend more time tracking and documenting and describing what you are doing for management reporting than doing the actual work. It is tedious.
We gave up when we realized management doesn't care about us. Tons of jobs have been outsourced and offshored. You can burn yourself out working hard only to get an extra 1% raise. It's not worth it.

I was all bright eyes and bushy tailed when I started a while back. Then my glasses came off and I saw how they deleted or ignored uncomfortable Qs at town halls, the condescending emails, and the lack of care about employee morale. Now I’m biding my time and acting my wage.
We gave up when the company gave up on us, which was several years ago. They don’t even pretend to care about the employees anymore. It’s all about the stock price, very short-term thinking.
