Suddenly, he’s scrambling with half-baked reasons to stay. Sorry, pal, that ship sailed and sank. The funniest part is they genuinely think we’ll just keep tolerating their "you’re lucky to even have a job" nonsense forever.

Wow - it's gotten to the point where to post positive comments supporting someone's decision to move on is making someone on this site loose their mind! Take it down a notch! I'm not necessarily saying, "Congrats for sticking it to the man! The evil Cengage beast must die. " I'm merely say "hey, good for you - hope you're happy now." No judgement. No approving of the way this person quit (because it's not for me to approve or disapprove). And if someone has felt misused by the company and felt some glory in quitting, why should anyone care? You are taking this very, very personally and your anger should be checked.
