The disconnect between leadership and reality would be funny if it wasn't so frustrating. After our department's MVP quit last month, you'd think someone might wonder why morale is in the toilet. But nope. We got same empty "we're a family" speeches without even an acknowledgment how many are walking away or trying to. At this point, I'm convinced they won't notice the sinking ship until they're the only ones left bailing water.

Share price appreciation is not a problem…
Leave tc alone ret@rded people dont need to be picked on!!
In other news, tc wants to spend time choosing a name for 3M’s service dog? Keep in mind she is paid well over 1 M. This is her May 2025 contribution…
Be part of the solution and not just the problem.
The problem is that 3M leadership fears truth more than pain.
Well, ppl like you, poster, are kinda the problem. Any chance we can ask you to quit?
been here nearly 27 years and maybe 1 or 2 people left for other jobs in that time, in the last 3 years over 12 bodies have left to better themselves, it was always a job for life for me , although i have 18 months to see out , I found myself disengaged from my job now and its a chore with the quality of new starts who are struggling to adapt to poor management ideas.
Sadly the quality of management has declined since Buckley, who might have averted this mess if the BOD had allowed him to ramp up investment in R&D after the lean Mcnerney years.
Inge was about avoiding activist investors who decimated Dow and Dupont. So he borrowed billions to goose the stock price.
Mike? He was a Peter Principle example of all time. Clueless though nice. He brought in Monish and Tireman who left dumpster fires.
BB may have "leadership" skills but only when it comes to "leading" the company into liquidation into several spins. No one care because BB doesn't care about the future. His growth spins to WS are simply to boost any potential interest in the spins. Look for CBG to be the next to exit stage left. The IT folks who've posted here seem to indicate a lot of stuff happening under the surface to segregate businesses in SAP. You only do this if you intend to spin off pieces.
GLTA. A sad ending to a once great American icon.
