Are they 6 of one and half dozen of the other? Or is Like Lyons actually human? Does he give a d@mn about the things Frank didn't such as work-life balance, employee retention, infrastructure investment, client support, etc.? Or should we expect more of the same?

I believe it's an unfair comparison.
Frank came on under completely different circumstances and was bought on after a few others had failed to stem the bleeding of First Data, Frank accomplished that and grew the company, no small feat. While many, including myself disagreed with the how, it worked, and the company was profitable again, and employees even shared in the IPO, that was a first for many. The merger with Fiserv was a good move, thew company is now a FINTECH behemoth. Mikes job and tenure will require a different approach. One thing Mike can take from Frank is to get in front of the camera, NBC, Fox, parades, etc, whatever it takes to promote FISERV. The street does not know him like it knew Frank, that needs to change. I wish him much luck and success as an employee and shareholder.
New CEO is a human being, normal person. Just with that is miles away of former CEO.
Mike is empathetic and understands the only way to future success is to be balanced on delivering for clients, shareholders AND employees. Franks legacy will be delivering for only one constituent,
Gibblets
It will take years to get Frank's gang out.
Gibbons for one, POS!!!!! It is unbelievable he is even here. Destroyed FIG!!!!!!! Will take years to recover and all the good people are leaving or plan to leave because of Gibbons the Horrible and his SLT. FIRE MOST of them!!
If you can wait it out 2-3 years, that is when you will see a first sign of turn around IF and ONLY IF Mike is successful. By then our competitors will be strengethed and the road is long and hard. Fiserv has become a tough place to work. Sad.
People got merit increases??
Based on recent merit increases, no.
Eh I’d just leave Fiserv if you can. Mike is supposably a lot more personable and caring but it could be years to see any real change.
You don’t get to be the top honcho of a
Multibillion dollar company by being a nice guy. Only hope is that he will be better than Frank and show a little empathy and respect for employees. I still think there is a lot of talent and hardworking dedicated people at Fiserv we just need a leader to harness the power. Unfortunately current management seems to be authoritarian and oblivious to brewing employee dissatisfaction. This can be a truly great company
Those that met and those that know Mike, say he is a great guy, intelligent, fair, cares about people, and humble.
Nothing like the greedy POS monster that pretty much destroyed all that was good. Good riddance.
Hopefully he has a plan and is not a greedy, selfish ba----d.
Time will tell but thankfully he’s from outside the boys club.
