Katie farmer really doesn’t care what you think, should have done a better job, if you would have worked harder and not been so worried about getting paid more, getting better benefits, or abusing the railroads good nature, maybe you would have gotten to keep your jobs. It’s your own fault. Management shouldn’t have to coddle you to get you to do your job, grow up and find somewhere else to work, BNSF and its high standards just wasn’t for you. Thats why BNSF keeps attorneys, judges, union leadership, and politicians on their payroll, so even if employees may have a leg to stand on, BNSF will have already nixed any opposition to their strategy before it gets far enough to make a difference, this is the railroad of the future, and the only ones who matter are managers or those making the decisions for planning. Everyone else is expendable or able to be replaced by a temporary contractor, while the legal battles play out in BNSF’s favor. If you don’t think so, it doesn’t matter, you’ll just be one of the ones who learns the hard way.

Katie should have been cut a long time ago, BNSF had to save face to avoid the appearance of firing the first CEO of a class 1 for incompetence, considering since she took over she’s annually cost BNSF at least 2 billion a year in profit margin losses, while increasing injuries, losing contracts, and an almost strike that was only thwarted by a democrat presidential election board. If any other employee single handedly cost the railroad that much, outside the social experiment of hiring a female clerk to run a class 1, they’d been fired long ago. The fact she was a DEI hire speaks largely to other companies who lost millions doing the same thing, BNSF forgot that being a railroader doesn’t simply mean you were hired by BNSF, it means actually doing a job and performing a job under the same standards you try to impose on others, and she failed in all categories from injuries, to moving freight, to consistent service, to making money. Forget the fact she never spun one hand brake or worked on a piece of rail equipment in her entire life, hence a DEI social experiment that was more worried about self serving back patting rather than truly being a leader. Stands to reason, someone should have told her learn how to do your own job before telling others how to theirs, she will go down forever in history as the person who presided over the largest down turn in profits and reduction in rail operations in the history of railroads simply so BNSF could say they let a female run a class 1 railroad into the ground, and probably did more harm to the female workforce single handedly than any other female industry did before her.

Greg Abel is a bigger foamer than Warren. Heard he likes to dress up like an engineer and play choo-choos in his basement. Once everything is autonomous, he will get to play with the big choo-choos from the comfort of his office.
