The new Berkshire guy is not going to be silent on the direction that this country is going. He will be critical of US politics in a way that WB never was. Along the same lines he is not going to let Oxy get off easily with making poor decisions. BH just may up their ownership to over 50% so they have more official control on their oil investment.

Oxy is a money play for WB pure and simple. The preferred dividend was a good business decision. He is not interested in your business model. His jet did not land in Houston looking for an oil business to invest in during the Spring of 2019.

No, almost none of the people that are working there were around back when Piper Alpha occurred. You know how long ago that was don’t you? If there are any left, they certainly were not in management. Or are you upset still with The White Star ship line because of the Titanic?

What do you expect? Oxy cost the lives of 167 men for money and that was just the start from a single incident. There’s nothing they won’t do for a payday. Tells you what kind of people are working there. Ethics for money.

Seriously questioning - what does this mean for OXY? For Vicki’s tenure? 2026 will be an interesting ride.
