Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Pulse?

Wondering how the remaining NetApp employees will respond to the "quiet layoffs". I was there for 10 years and lol at the executive PULSE surveys that are not anonymous. It is so ridiculous, we just let go of the older more expensive folks who know how to do things, please complete this survey (which we will absolutely record) and tell us how we as a leadership team are doing. Again it is not anonymous, but please be honest because there would never be any repercussions. LMAO.

It’s not anonymous. But they pretend it is.

Hello? The link to the yearly Pulse survey is always unique to your email. It would be d-mb to say what you honestly think. Thats not what they want to hear, and they know who you are if your answers are in any way nrgative

What indicates it to you that it's not anonymous? For sure you can identify comments by grammar and style, but aside of that?

The leaders are making up their minds on a route to stock price targets and then the rest of the company are just ablative layers to their strategy. The leadership attitude is basically IT is now like the Sopranos and your somehow a failure if they can figure out leverage over you or a way to take advantage of you.... The surveys are ignored... better to call up the Register and give them a main page article if you want to generate change.... The board has to hear about a s-xual complaint or a kick back before they will take action. The surveys just give them people for the next layoff that obviously couldn't handle the difficulty of change....
