The big issue with CPCHEM is that its value today is not what Elliott thinks it is but its value going forward is. Unfortunately Chevron will walk all over us to get a deal at today's price. Don't sell low and later buy high some refining asset.

Look at the dow chemical or lyb stock and market cap to see what 2025 vs 2024 look like.

OP is either ignorant or knowingly deceptive for Elliott's purpose.

Chevron has wanted to purchase it from day one. Mulva and O'Reilly used to joke back and forth about it.

Dark days are ahead for Phillips 66 if this kind gets control.
