Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Stock levels

Why are our selling floors looking so empty and our stockrooms are loaded with brand new merchandise?. As I merchandiser, I was told I could place one of each size on the floor and the rest goes in the stock room. I have one linen size large shirt on the floor and 11 in the stock room. When the one size large sells, who replaces the size/product?

My store gave up on that 22 per arm BS months ago. No one can do restocking. Apparently it's not been called out on visits so there's that. I guess the DVP knows it's not possible. Put more stock out.

Tony is trying SO HARD to turn Macy's into Bloomies, it's embarrassing. Who is going to replenish the floor as items are sold?

I promise, this will last for a month before they start pushing "no merchandise left in stockroom" again.

“Someone” might not have time with all the additional tasks. I sure hope “Someone” gets an amazing review with a substantial pay raise.

Because we have new visual standards now for all the fixtures. For a 4 way, I believe it's 22 units per arm. It's going to be a LOT of stock in stockrooms. Someone is supposed to do a back to front then pull the stock and place it. What a joke. We don't have enough people for that.
Tony Spring must think the stores are boutiques
