LCV is the most shortsighted bet yet. Making huge bets on government subsidies that gave her just enough money to get in a long term bind. WB always said they wouldn’t take it over because they wouldn’t know what to do with it. Well that’s one step better than VH, at least he has the humility to admit it

What about spinning off and selling DAQ and LCV like we did CRC? We could use the cash to pay off debt. Dump the disaster. I can see it.

The easy solution is to get into the beer making business. Oxy could have the largest brewery around.

Hopefully the Oxy execs know something we all don’t when it comes to DAC and LCV endeavors. It seems we are in so deep now getting out would be bad. In some cases it might be best to cut it out and focus on oil and gas production. Getting in business with the govt never seemed like a good idea in the first place. If oil keeps going down I don’t see how we can keep DAC and LCV going.
