Chasing Former Glory is a Self-Inflicted Unalive Attempt

Look, we were in bad shape in 2021 when Pat came on board, but because he decided to chase former glory and try to be #1 in process tech without any remotely profitable way to get there, we are in far worse shape today. All Pat did was make it far worse (even if 18A is wildly successful).

In some sense, it would be better if LBT were simply chopping us up for parts. That at least has an eye towards a return to profitability.

LBT is also trying to relive his glory days at Cadence. Too bad that he's too old to see that those days are long gone and Intel is a completely different beast.

If successful will take time, 2027/2028 will be a good read(assuming we stay intact till then). Pat did a lot of the chopping up and selling while he was here canning so many projects that weren't core but would have been great as an offering as a Foundry...

Agreed as soon as we can all accept we will it will never be like it was the better we can move on and attempt for a new different better
