Ford already makes the Ranger in several foreign plants. The plan was to ramp up production in one or more of those plants and import them.
Bronco was going to go to Mexico.
Then the tariffs, 25%, went on imported vehicles. They saved MAP.
Tariffs work.
So where was it going in Mexico? I don’t buy it.
