When should we expect the next reorganization that will accomplish absolutely nothing useful, but still have those at the top patting each other on the back for a job well done?

The company is still in the "reorg" phase. Sammy gutted Canada and did a reorg in a little under a year. His mission for CUSA is the same - gut (mass layoffs), reorg and move on. Since the company is still in early reorg phase, that means another mass layoff is highly likely (everyone is getting jittery again as Q3 approaches, and very rightfully so).
Once the layoffs for 2025 are complete and the building is sold, then the reorg will begin the next phase as they move to a smaller location, possibly back to New Hyde Park or off Long Island entirely (the more likely option). Don't kid yourselves - Canon is not staying in Melville. The third floor was cleared out so it can serve as demo space for buyers. The building has already been sold or is being finalized as you read this. Langone is/was frontrunner to buy the building but there are/were at least 3 other major organizations eyeing it.
Reorg will probably complete by 2026, then Sammy will move on to the next division that Canon Inc wants him to gut and restructure.
How do you know if these suits at the top are patting themselves on the back? For now, they're smiling in each other's faces, waiting for the right moment to thrust a Ginzu kn--e 🗡️ in each other's backs. I'd eat a box of popcorn 🍿 watching them do each other in. That would be an enjoyable spectacle.
And nothing about National Military Appreciation Month! Typical.
Anybody notice how they sent the “Asian Heritage Month” email out first thing this morning? You know they were all over that.
Priorities, priorities, sigh…….
