Is there any decent people remain in Intel to have a reasonable re-org, and keep the good part?
Random cut or cut evenly everywhere really hurt. Does the new CEO want to improve or just chop off?

If the project is important, you will be fine. Some of the managers in your chain will likely be let go or demoted to IC.
