We've been moved from pillar to post (you're in this division, now you're in this division, oh wait now you're in this division) over the last few years. Now it looks like we're going to be subsumed by Cengage Asia. So many people are going. TBH a bit annoyed that I'm not one of them (and for those in the US, depending on how long you have worked for a company in AUS you get a decent payout according to our laws which is why so many people have held out from leaving). Some of the decisions are bewildering

Huge huge layoffs in ELT. Some wonderful people and some… not so much. Some “retirements.”

You should contact your HR department immediately so they can help you! Don’t delay, you should get your package for being such a loyal employee and sticking in for so long doing the bare minimum. Amazing, someone complaining they aren’t being laid off!
