Walk silently and carry a big stick epitomizes LB’s CEO style to a T. Deminimis info on layoffs and the loud crack of the whip that screams “Get To Work!” (As if that’s not what we’ve been doing). Perhaps LBT doesn’t want to scare the sheep, or the investors, who are already pretty nervous. But what he doesn’t get, or likely doesn’t care, is that morale has already been in the toilet for 3 years running. While the hard reality is what it is, it doesn’t help to hear the message “be happy you got a job”, which is clearly being broadcast, albeit in lightly spoken words. My message to Lip-Bu, we can play silent too… silent quitting.

Not a brilliant move to take a company who can't deliver chips with current technology on time and try and bring up High-NA EUV machines. Are we relying on ASML to work out the bugs for us? Intel is incapable of such a complex endevor. Maybe LBT is helping out TSMC by punting the huge cost of bringing up the new technology on the soon to be gone Intel?
I don't believe OP can be quiet.
Haven’t you heard? He doesn’t Engrish well.
