Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

What about attrition and those retiring?

Why are people so convinced that 20k will be laid off? Isn’t it more realistic that, as the reduction in force plays out over the coming months, that number will also include people who leave voluntarily or retire? I’m more worried about them making the work atmosphere even worse to push more of us out than I am about the actual layoffs.

The retirees are golden gods! They should be worshipped and treated like royalty. Their hard work - impressive life’s long work and careers got us to this exact spot we are in. Lowly dog, bow your head, kneel and worship at the feet of Retirees you unworthy sc-m.
