Spent 7 years at Dish. Saw the writings on the wall for 4 of them. I should left way earlier but needed to finish a few life goals. Eventually Dish actually did me the favor and laid me off because I couldn't do it myself. It was like in an abusive relationship. I knew I had to go but just couldn't. It was a dead-end and only will end badly. And yes, absolutely correct, I didn't know how bad it was or how much better it is until I am out. Toxicity is the only definition.

You often won't fully realize just how bad Echostar/Dish is to work at until you've move on.
Every day I thank the good Lord for opening up a new professional opportunity outside of Dish.
